And I painted my eyebrows
And I painted my eyebrows (2002). Taking some of Frida Kahlo's paintings as a starting point, the author takes a self-portrait and makes a work of transposition from the pictorial to the photographic medium. The author constructed each of her images attending to the details of the originals, making photography in her case, a multidisciplinary and integral work. The series that followed (Mexican Lottery) was a continuation of this way of working.
